Thể tích lô hàng chuyển phát chiếm chỗ trên máy bay luôn có chi phí lớn hơn so với trọng lượng thực tế của lô hàng. Vì vậy trọng lượng thể tích ra đời nhằm tính toán trọng lượng thể tích cho mỗi lô hàng, đưa ra so sánh với trọng lượng thực tế của nó để xác định được chính xác chi phí vận chuyển của bạn.
Lưu ý: Có 2 cách tính cước
1/ Tính theo cân nặng thực tế: gross weight = A
2/ Tính theo thể tích. Công thức:
Dài * Rộng * Cao (cm)/5000 = B
So sánh giữa cân nặng và thể tích để tính phí. Nếu A lớn hơn B thì sẽ charge phí A, ngược lại nếu B lớn A thì sẽ charge phí B
VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT CALCULATION
In air freight and express delivery services, the space occupied by a shipment on an aircraft often has a greater impact on transportation costs than its actual weight. Therefore, volumetric weight is used to determine the chargeable weight of a shipment by comparing the shipment's physical dimensions with its actual weight.
Please note that freight charges can be calculated using two methods:
Actual Weight Calculation
Actual Weight (Gross Weight) = A
Volumetric Weight Calculation
Formula:
Length × Width × Height (cm) ÷ 5,000 = B
Determination of Chargeable Weight
The freight charge will be based on whichever value is greater between the Actual Weight (A) and the Volumetric Weight (B):
• If A > B, the shipment will be charged based on the Actual Weight (A).
• If B > A, the shipment will be charged based on the Volumetric Weight (B).
This calculation method ensures a fair and accurate transportation cost by taking into account both the physical weight and the cargo space occupied during transit.
